ULTRA-MICRO GSM bugging device – extremely compact solution for discreet applications

ULTRA-MICRO GSM bugging device was consistently designed for the smallest possible dimensions. With only 33 × 22 × 16 mm the compact module can also be used where there is hardly any space for larger GSM devices. Direct audio access is via the mobile network: A call is enough to hear the room acoustics live at the location.

Additionally, the device supports voice activation, which can trigger an automatic callback or notification when noise activity is detected. Audio recordings can also be stored and later evaluated via the MicroSD slot. Memory cards with a capacity of up to 32 GB are supported.

Our technical assessment

With the ULTRA-MICRO, the Miniaturization is clearly in the foreground. The very small dimensions allow for applications where larger long-term or mains-powered devices are not suitable due to design constraints. Especially in limited installation space, this can be the decisive advantage of this model.

However, the small size brings with it an understandable technical compromise: The integrated battery has a capacity of 400 mAh and achieves a standby time of up to 5 days. For applications where weeks or months of operational readiness without recharging are required, POWER, HIGHPOWER, or EXTREMPOWER models with significantly larger batteries are much better suited.

The ULTRA-MICRO is therefore particularly recommended when minimal dimensions are more important than maximum battery life. Despite its small size, it offers a comparatively large range of functions through the combination of live audio access, noise activation, and additional MicroSD recording.
