Many bugging devices look similar at first glance – but differ significantly in practice. The decisive factor is not only the design, but above all the technology used and the intended area of application. In our shop for bugging technology you will find a selection of modern surveillance systems – von klassischen radio mini transmitters to powerful GSM bugging devices. Below we show the differences and what you should pay attention to when choosing.
A GSM bugging device uses the mobile network and works with a SIM card. The big advantage is the location-independent access: The device can be activated remotely, allowing real-time eavesdropping – even over longer distances. GSM technology is particularly suitable for situations where direct access to the device is not possible. Depending on the application environment and runtime requirements, however, another technology may be the better choice.
Mini eavesdropping devices score points with their compact design and discreet use. They are particularly suitable when inconspicuousness and easy handling are important. However, range, battery life, and transmission type can vary significantly – comparing the technical features is therefore advisable before deciding on a model.
Technical note:
Many room eavesdropping devices are advertised with unrealistic runtimes. The key factors are microphone sensitivity, standby consumption, and transmission type – not the maximum manufacturer specification.
